can i cast using VLC player ? How to cast video from laptop to TV ? This is helpful when , you need to do the following : 1 - there is video on laptop or desktop 2 - you want to cast to tv 3 - both devices are in the same network 4 - Choose the following options : Open VLC - > play the video - > go to -> Playback - > Renderer -> Scan 5 - if the TV name or Chromecast device is not available , let it scan or click the device to connect. 6 - the device will start playing.
